SKA London Sports Day 2026 – Event Report

The SKA Sports Day was organised with great enthusiasm, bringing together members, families, and friends for a day filled with sports, teamwork, entertainment, and community spirit. The event was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, participate in various activities, and strengthen the bond within the SKA community.

The successful completion of the event was made possible through the dedication of the organising committee, volunteers, sponsors, referees, and all participants who contributed their time and effort.

Opening Ceremony

The Sports Day began with an opening ceremony conducted by the unit presidents:

• Mr. Praveen D’Souza – BMKA Bristol

The ceremony marked the official beginning of the event, with balloons being released to celebrate the occasion and create a joyful atmosphere among everyone present.

Registration and Event Coordination

The day started with participant registration and coordination activities, ensuring that all teams and participants were guided properly throughout the event. The organising team worked efficiently to maintain smooth communication and proper scheduling of all activities.

Sports and Activities

The Sports Day featured a variety of events for different age groups, encouraging participation from children, youth, and adults. The activities focused on promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendly competition.

The athletics events and team games created an energetic environment, with participants showing great enthusiasm and commitment. Children’s activities also added excitement and ensured that younger members of the community had an enjoyable experience.

Food Arrangements and Hospitality

Food arrangements played an important role in making the event comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.
